When people first appeared on earth, they are primarily vegetarians. God put them in such a way that in spite of the teeth, they can sink their teeth into the raw meat and other animal can. Indeed, as part of evolution, and teeth are reduced in size, and sharpness. Basically a set of teeth have more convenient to have vegetables than meat.

As the day progressed and the fire was discovered, people could eat meat after cooking too, but primarily they were vegetarians, which are adapted to the environment, learning from the environment and animals around them.

Of late, the importance of vegetarianism has dawned on us as the world goes to the global food shortage. Once the greens as the core food certainly does not mean that you have become a hardcore vegetarian, but instead increase the amount of vegetable intake in your daily diet.

Leafy vegetables are rich source of iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, etc. that are important in maintaining electrolyte balance in our body. Leafy vegetables have a lot of essential vitamins and minerals that will certainly help the overall development of the body. One important study found that men who consumed more greens in a lesser risk of getting cancer or even heart attack, and they lived longer and fresher than their counterparts who eat meat.

Those who are well-balanced diet with adequate amounts of all the best with much longer lives and slower aging. Some of the most important leafy vegetables, which must have been - broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, kale, radish, carrots, spinach, summer crisp endive, among others. It could be well understood now that from where famous cartoon eat spinach stems from his power! If you want a great life, you should include most leafy vegetables mentioned here, if not all!
